GARDENS: Voodoo Lily [Amorphophallus konjac]

A curious plant in flower in my London garden...Paul, who looks after my house, says: "It has a delicate scent of rotting flesh and attracts every fly in the area. When I first caught a whiff of it I started looking for a decomposing corpse".

  1. I bought the 1st Amorphophallus Konjac in 2006 and ever since it has multiplied quite readily. In essence, Amorphophallus Konjac is quite easy to grow and the top candidate if you're a novice to growing Amorphophallus or aroids in general.
