Wuthering Heights by Charlotte Brontë

I have never read Wuthering Heights by Charlotte Brontë, and only yesterday did I watch a DVD of the movie with Merle Oberon, Laurence Olivier, David Niven and Flora Robson, directed by the gifted, award-winning William Wyler [nicknamed 90 takes!]...a great, iconic romance - I shall not read the book!

  1. Dear John,
As you I didn't read the book but saw the movie and I never will read the book because 'the magic is gone' when you first saw the movie! You can not fill in the text with your own thoughts anymore, the movie has taken away that.
But I am agree with you, it is a great, ionic romance!
Have a wonderful rest of the week!
    Greet
