March 2, 2013 - In the church at Saanen, the Menhuin Festival held a concert with the celebrated Cecilia Bartoli singing Baroque songs by Ferdinando Orlandi, Stefano Benedetto Pallavicino and Ortensia Mauro, directed by Diego Fasoli - I Barocchisti of Lugano - famous for playing with period instruments - a perfect accompaniment to La Bartoli's matchless, rich coloraturo mezzo-soprano voice.
