Candida Lycett Green was a beauty with an infectious laugh,
a gift for friendship, and a deep love for England and its countryside but by
no means was she parochial. The poem read by her husband Rupert was preceded by
an email she sent her friend Lyndall Hobbs, an Australian in Los Angeles.
Friends flocked, the grandest and the modest, the old and young filled the
church and overflowed into a tent in the graveyard - beautiful and very apt.
An eloquent Eulogy by Christopher Gibbs and the Gospel Choir singing 'Oh Happy Day' and 'Say a Little Prayer'
